Natürliche Nachrichten
- A new study from the Mayo Clinic, published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings, of nearly 5,000 midlife women found that over 80% of those surveyed who experienced menopause symptoms, chose not to seek medical care. A decision the researchers frame as a “treatment-seeking gap” needing to be closed. Whilst medical interventions can be helpful for some women, this perspective reveals the continued medical establishment’s troubling agenda to pathologise a natural life transition that women have navigated successfully for millennia. The framing of menopause as a medical crisis requiring treatment exemplifies how mainstream medicine and pharmaceutical companies manufacture fear around natural bodily changes to expand their markets, undermining women’s confidence in their bodies’ innate wisdom and their ability to transition through menopause using natural options.
In the US the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced it will remove what it calls “misleading” black-box warnings from synthetic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) products in an effort to “restore gold-standard science to women’s health.” These warnings were originally added after early studies linked conventional HRT use to an increased risk of breast cancer. But as more recent evidence points to that risk being far lower than once feared, regulators now claim it’s time for a reset. The shift does far more than tidy up outdated labelling. It flings the door wide open for a renewed push toward the use of synthetic HRT from an ever earlier age, accelerating the ongoing medicalisation of a natural life phase and positioning pharmaceutical intervention as the default path through women’s menopause journeys. It also does nothing to educate people about the difference between synthetic HRT used in conventional medicine and the more natural, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), used in integrative medicine, which carries no risk when used according to your individual prescription.

- The link between poor dental health and the risk of stroke is emphasised by a new study published in Neurology Open Access. Researchers found that periodontal disease plus decay (caries) increases the risk of ischemic stroke (blood clot) and MACEs (ischemic stroke, myocardial infarction, or fatal CHD) by 10%. The new study reinforces the importance of taking care of your dental and oral health to prevent a range of serious health issues.

- In response to the recent announcement by the US government of a possible link between the use of paracetamol (acetaminophen/Tylenol) in pregnancy and autism, a new umbrella review published in The BMJ concludes the link is tenuous at best in an attempt to dismiss concerns. However, despite the emphasis on the poor quality of the studies reviewed, the authors don’t provide robust evidence of safety to support the use of acetaminophen in pregnancy.
- On the 19th November 2025, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), quietly updated it’s website to reflect the research work being undertaken by RFK Jr and the HHS regarding childhood vaccines and autism. Under the heading of “Vaccines do not cause Autism” the key points now read:
- The claim “vaccines do not cause autism” is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
- Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.
- HHS has launched a comprehensive assessment of the causes of autism, including investigations on plausible biologic mechanisms and potential causal links.
Dr James Lyons Weiler has the full story of how a hardline narrative of “vaccines don’t cause autism” is changing under the leadership of Robert F Kennedy Jr.
- Personalised vitamin D supplementation dramatically reduces heart attack risk in adults with existing heart disease. A preliminary abstract, using data from the Target-D trial, presented at the American Heart Association’s 2025 Scientific Sessions suggests that personalised vitamin D supplementation could cut the risk of a second heart attack by more than half. Notably, over half of those in the treatment arm needed more than 5,000 IU/day, far above the recommended 800 IU, to have an effect. The research highlights the benefits of personalised supplementation, rather than the current “one-dose-fits-all” scenario implemented by health authorities.

- A first-in-human trial, published in Das New England Journal of Medicine, has tested a CRISPR-Cas9 gene-edited therapy designed to permanently switch off the angiopoietin-like protein 3 gene (ANGPTL3) to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. The approach is based on observations that people with natural loss-of-function mutations in ANGPTL3 have significantly lower lipid levels, prompting researchers to explore targeted gene silencing as a therapeutic strategy. While the investigators have reported the treatment to be safe in the short term, longer-term studies are still needed to understand durability and risks. Given ANGPTL3’s wider roles in vascular biology, glucose regulation, and stem-cell signalling, caution is warranted regarding potential off-target or unintended systemic effects when altering its function with man-made gene therapy.
Newly published studies lay bare the profound harms of ultra-processed foods, exposing their powerful role in fuelling today’s chronic disease crisis. The research also highlights a deeply troubling trend: children are being hit hardest, with rising obesity and related health conditions increasingly tied to UPF-heavy diets. The ANH Food4Health guidelines and book Reset Eating (Revised 1st edition) are designed to help you to make changes to you and your family’s diet and lifestyle to futureproof everyone’s health and wellbeing – naturally!
- Ultra-processed foods (UPFs), devoid of nutrients, are rapidly replacing real, fresh food in diets across every continent, both for children and adults and are linked to a multitude of chronic diseases across nearly every major organ system in the human body. The first in a series of three articles published in The Lancet, addresses three hypotheses that show UPFs are a key driver of the escalating chronic disease crisis. Of the 104 studies reviewed, 92 reported links between UPF consumption and increased risk of chronic disease. Even as the food industry engineered a world of addicts, using tactics like bliss point technology to make products irresistible while stripping them of real nutritional value, it’s now deploying tactics learnt from the tobacco industry, to protect UPFs and dismiss their harms.
- The number of children experiencing problems with their blood pressure has nearly doubled between 2000 and 2020 according to a new systematic review and meta-analysis published in The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health. The condition, which is attributed to unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, and rising obesity rates, is now a growing public health concern.

- A coalition of civil society organisations, Indigenous groups, and youth movements has issued a stark warning against geoengineering, describing large-scale climate interventions like carbon capture and solar radiation management as “dangerous distractions” that fail to address the root causes of climate change. At COP30 in Brazil, activists highlighted how such projects, often promoted through carbon markets, threaten Indigenous sovereignty, drive land dispossession, and exacerbate environmental harm. The Hands Off Mother Earth (HOME) Alliance and allies urged a focus on rights-based, community-driven climate solutions instead of corporate-led technological experiments.

ANH-USA Update
- A new bill introduced into the US Senate seeks to eliminate the self-GRAS system, which would cause huge issues and severely restrict innovation in food and supplement ingredients. ANH supports targeted reforms to the existing system that enhance transparency while continuing to support a flexible system that allows safe, natural ingredients to reach consumers. Handeln Sie to support real GRAS reform…
- A hidden clause in the recently approved US spending bill could see 95% of hemp and CBD products on the market in the US banned as it sets unrealistically low levels of THC in products. There’s now less than 365 days to save health hemp products. Take Action to protect your access to CBD…
Post-covid related
- A two-year battle in the UK to publicly release data that could link covid shots to excess deaths has ended in the UK government’s favour. Non-profit advocacy group UsforThem filed a freedom of information request with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) in 2023 requesting data related to covid vaccines and excess deaths. Their efforts to obtain the data ended this month after the UK Information Commissioner’s Office denied the request citing protection of patient confidentiality and that such data might be used to fuel ‘misinformation’ and vaccine hesitancy—which really tells you all you need to know! The Defender has the full story.
